- Academic degree / Prerequisites
- High school GPA of 3.0+ and national or regional athletic competition record
- English language proficiency
- JLPT N2 or IELTS 5.5
- Standardized testing (GRE/GMAT)

- Thesis / Research statement
- Athletic resume and 500-word statement on sports diplomacy and fair play
- Recommendation letters
- Two letters of recommendation from sports coaches or school principals
