Academic degree / Prerequisites: Secondary school GPA >= 3.5/4.0 (or top 15% academic ranking) with strong physics and chemistry results
English language proficiency: Japanese JLPT N2/N1 or English IELTS 6.5 (MEXT preparatory course included)
Standardized testing (GRE/GMAT): Not required
Thesis / Research statement: High school graduation certificate, MEXT medical examination form, and recommendation from Japanese embassy
Recommendation letters: 2 teacher recommendation letters
