- Academic degree / Prerequisites
- Minimum GPA of 2.30/3.00 on the MEXT scale (equivalent to 80%+ or 3.4/4.0 GPA).
- English language proficiency
- Academic IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 85+ or CEFR B2 equivalent.
- Standardized testing (GRE/GMAT)
- Not required.
- Thesis / Research statement
- Well-formulated research plan aligned with a Waseda faculty supervisor who has agreed to supervise.
- Recommendation letters
- Recommendation letter from Dean or Department Chair of home university.
