ATSU internal and external scholarship routes
University funding is program-specific. ATSU's ScholarshipUniverse and Enrollment Services explain internal funds, external awards and which students can access applications.
Competitive endowed scholarships
ATSU lists internally funded scholarships supported by donors and alumni. Many awards are described as ranging from US$500 to US$5,000 per academic year, with criteria that may include school, enrolled program, academic progress, need and community-service interests. The university states that the 2025/26 award cycle distributed over US$859,000 in internal scholarship funds across 204 awards from 122 named funds. These are historical totals rather than current guarantees.

Where to access the awards
Existing or admitted ATSU students use ScholarshipUniverse through the my.ATSU.edu portal for vetted internal and external opportunities. The official aid description says recurring internal scholarship applications commonly run from mid-January to mid-March; the precise next season's dates and eligibility must be confirmed via the portal and Enrollment Services announcements.
Outside scholarship providers set their own terms; an external award is not necessarily administered or guaranteed by ATSU.
Before budgeting
- Review university tuition and technology fees for the actual degree and school.
- Check admitted or active student eligibility for ScholarshipUniverse.
- Verify the scholarship's program, residency, citizenship and academic-standing rules.
- Look for current award availability rather than reusing 2025/26 fund totals.
- Do not confuse a loan, need-based aid, stipend, first-year merit award or funded research employment.
