Academic overview & excellence

Located in the Vechtdal industrial and technological corridor of northeastern Overijssel, Alfa-college Campus Hardenberg is a modern vocational and technical college hub. The campus features high-tech mechatronics laboratories, health simulation nursing clinics, sustainable construction workshops, and direct university-of-applied-sciences (HBO) articulation pathways to Windesheim, NHL Stenden, and Hanze University of Applied Sciences.

Research admissions & criteria

Admission to MBO Level 4 vocational diploma and HBO-propedeuse transition programs requires a Dutch VMBO theoretical or mixed diploma (VMBO-tl/gl), HAVO completion, or equivalent international secondary school certification. International candidates apply through the centralized intake portal with certified Dutch translation of diplomas and demonstration of Dutch language proficiency at CEFR B1/B2 level.
