TU Eindhoven - University Racing Eindhoven (URE) Innovation Hub
The University Racing Eindhoven (URE) Innovation Hub at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is Europe's leading student-led motorsport engineering and autonomous vehicle research laboratory, based in the heart of Brainport Eindhoven.
Academic overview & excellence
URE unites over 80 multidisciplinary mechanical, electrical, and software engineering students to design, simulate, build, and race fully electric and autonomous Formula Student racecars. The team pioneers four-wheel independent torque vectoring, carbon monocoque optimization, and LiDAR-based simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM).
Research admissions & criteria
Bachelor's engineering admissions requires a Dutch VWO diploma (with Mathematics B and Physics) or recognized international equivalent. Master of Science programs (taught in English) require a relevant BSc in Engineering with a minimum GPA of 75% and English proficiency (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 90). URE technical team recruitments occur annually across all engineering departments.
