Two separate pathways

SMS: student mobility for study

Study at a participating international partner institution under the academy's Erasmus+ student mobility scheme. Eligibility, academic recognition and destination depend on current partner arrangements and the annual announcement.

SMP: student mobility for traineeship

Practical placement or traineeship mobility funded under the separate Erasmus+ traineeship route. The academy distinguishes this from regular study mobility; some rounds cover recent graduates under stated conditions.

2026/27 deadlines: archived

The academy listed a study and traineeship call under project 2025-1-IT02-KA131-HED-000334260 for academic year 2026/27 with deadline 22 June 2026. The academy subsequently published selection information in July 2026. That submission window is now closed; do not treat the 2026/27 cycle title as a new open call.

How to evaluate future opportunities

  1. Check whether you are a current eligible student, rather than assuming the call covers external incoming applicants.
  2. Find the latest SMS or SMP competition and selection requirements.
  3. Confirm partner destinations, language levels, recognition of study or traineeship and Erasmus grant rates from the current PDF.
  4. Verify any restrictions on repeat mobility, overlapping funding and recent-graduate placements.

Future award amounts and dates were not confirmed from the published 2026/27 results. Return to the academy's degrees and funding guide ↗.
